When should filters on the rack be inspected?

To prevent filter clogging, always monitor the pressure drop or temperature difference between the inlet and outlet of the filter housings. A blocked commissioning filter can restrict the suction gas flow, potentially causing compressor motor damage due to inadequate cooling.

We recommend inspecting the filters after a minimum of 48 operating hours at a total MT capacity of between 50% and 100%. If the pressure drop across the filters becomes excessive, cleaning or replacement is required.
