Is it true that CO₂ is more vulnerable to leaks than other refrigerants?

You could argue this, because the carbon dioxide molecule is significantly smaller and less dense than many synthetic refrigerants, but CO₂ refrigeration systems are not inherently more leak‑prone.

While they operate at higher pressures – requiring robust design and installation – properly engineered systems achieve leak performance completely comparable to other refrigerants.

To ensure this reliability, Advansor tests all components both individually and as an integrated system in our own laboratory before releasing them for production. Furthermore, we utilise our own pressure-test chambers, ensuring that every rack is fully factory-tested before dispatch.
